Masters-Inspired Recipes that are sure to be a hit at any Par-Tee

Happy Masters week! It’s a tradition unlike any other that deserves to be celebrated!…with yummy food and drinks of course! Here are a few Masters-inspired recipes that are sure to be a hit at any par-tee!

Masters Pimento Cheese Sandwich
Pimento Cheese

Pimento Cheese

2 cups sharp yellow cheddar cheese

1 cup white cheddar cheese

1 4oz jar diced pimentos, drained

6 oz cream cheese, room temperature

2 tbsp mayonnaise

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

salt and pepper, to taste

Freshly grate both cheddars then combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Mix using a stand mixer or hand mixer until well combined. Store in the refrigerator.

Enjoy as a spread or on a sandwich (I love a grilled pimento cheese)!

Georgia Peach Ice-cream Sandwich

Georgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwiches

I used Breyer’s Peach Ice Cream thanks to the recommendation from the Southern Living article “We Tasted 5 Peach Ice Creams, and These Are Our Favorites” + Slice and Bake Sugar Cookies (If you have the time and a favorite recipe, homemade cookies and/or homemade peach ice cream would be amazing!)

I recommend making these ahead of time. Bake sugar cookies according to package instructions. Allow to cool completely before assembling by spreading a thick scoop of ice cream on one cookie and topping with another cookie. Smooth edges of ice cream. Wrap sandwiches individually and freeze until ready to serve!

Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches

Barbecue Sandwiches

Go the easy route and order barbecue pork or chicken from your favorite BBQ restaurant or use rotisserie chicken + store-bought barbecue sauce (I love Primal Kitchen’s)! Use regular buns or Hawaiian rolls to make sliders.

Azalea Cocktail

Azalea

2 oz Vodka (I make mine with Tequila!)

1 oz Lemon or Lime Juice

2 oz Pineapple Juice

Splash of Grenadine

Garnish with an Orange and a Cherry

Transfusion

Transfusion

2 oz Vodka

2 oz Ginger Ale

1 oz Grape Juice

Garnish with a Lime

Azalea and Transfusion

Cheers to one of the best weeks of the year!

Always finding joy,

Francie
