When I am not traveling, my favorite place to be is in my kitchen! I enjoy trying new recipes, experimenting with kitchen gadgets, and entertaining friends and family! I wanted to share some “finds” from my favorite items we received from our wedding registry. I’m including everything from kitchen gadgets to special occasion serving pieces. Some of these items would make perfect last minute Mother’s Day gifts!
The Instant Pot is a multifunction pressure cooker that has become all the rage and I absolutely love ours! I prep hard-boiled eggs for the week in just minutes. Salsa verde chicken is also one of my favorite things to prep for a week at home to use on salads or in bowls and it takes just 20 minutes!
I received this amazing blender from a group of hostesses! It has been on my wish list for a few years now and I’m in love! It is extremely powerful and the self-cleaning program is a bonus!
This attachment for the KitchenAid mixer makes spiralizing a breeze! I use it to make zoodles for easy, low-carb weeknight meals like this Lemon Basil Pesto over Chicken and Zoodles by The Defined Dish or with a homemade meat sauce!
This electric citrus press became one of the most coveted items on our registry after seeing Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere post about hers! We have used it to make fresh-squeezed orange juice with breakfast and for my favorite cocktail, fresh-squeezed margaritas!
I am absolutely loving my All-Clad cookware! I am so impressed with the quality and love the look of the stainless steel.
I use this kitchen gadget to slice potatoes super thin to bake homemade potato “chips” in the oven. The thinner they’re sliced, the crispier they get! I also use it to make zucchini “ribbons” for summer salads or a low carb lasagna! For a healthy snack or dessert, I use the mandoline to thinly slice apples for apple “donuts”! They are delicious topped with nut butter and cinnamon!
There is something about brand new bakeware that has me perusing recipes! I love this gold set from Williams Sonoma, and I am so pleased with the quality!
I love these non-stick silicone baking mats! They come in various sizes, and I use them just about every day when I’m home to roast veggies. They are also great for baking all types of sweet treats!
I really like the clean look of this glass food storage set. I will use it to meal prep (and to teach Smylie the art of eating leftovers)!
I chose Juliska Puro in White for my everyday china. I especially like that it is classic, timeless and functional (and the fact that it is dishwasher safe!)
I chose to mix and match handcrafted pieces to complete my dinnerware and these mugs were exactly what I wanted. Having coffee is a morning ritual for me-I go to bed dreaming about my cup of coffee I will have the next morning! These mugs are the perfect size, plus beautiful and sturdy!
I love creating salads and bowls for meals! These bowls are just the right size for those creations or for a hearty bowl of pasta!
I am a big fan of Gossip Girl and I have always loved the champagne flutes they use in the show! When I found them on Crate and Barrel for $12.95 I immediately added them to my registry! They have such a simple elegance to them and we will enjoy using them on special occasions for years to come!
Sign me up for anything Beatriz Ball makes! You never have to polish it and it goes from oven to table to freezer! Platters, bowls, you name it; I love it all! This beautiful silver ice bucket will be wonderful for family celebrations and entertaining friends!
My mom is the best hostess I know! Growing up, she taught me the value of fine china and the joy of hospitality and entertaining others. Her holiday tablescapes are always beautiful and I was so excited to pick my own pattern to entertain friends and family for years to come!
These gold-rimmed chargers jazz up any tablescape and will be the perfect foundation for my fine china on special occasions! I love all Annieglass patterns and products! Their pieces make any setting special and would be great gifts for birthdays, weddings, or any celebrations!
Farmhouse Pottery Silo Crock
Farmhouse Pottery is a collection of beautifully crafted kitchenware and accent pieces made in Vermont. I have admired this brand for awhile and I am so happy to finally own a few pieces! I received this crock and use it on my kitchen counter to hold my utensils! Fresh cut flowers would also be beautiful in this multi-functional crock!
Always finding joy,
