On The Menu – 1.10.21

You may have seen on my Instagram that I have been posting an “On The Menu” story on Sundays. I have not always been one to plan my meals for the week, but it’s a positive habit that I created during quarantine and I intend to continue doing it! I spend Sunday afternoons looking through my cookbooks and recipes that I have saved on Instagram. Once I have selected what meals I want to cook for the week, I make a grocery list and head to the store. This routine limits my visits to the grocery store to once a week – I used to be one to think “what’s for dinner?” around 5pm each day and make a daily grocery run (the store is just two minutes from my house). Planning ahead sets up a healthy week, saves time and takes away that “what’s for dinner?” stress each day. To hear me talk more in depth about meal planning, check out this episode of the Well and Worthy Life podcast. By sharing my plan each week, I hope to encourage you to give weekly meal planning a try while inspiring you to try new recipes as you discover new accounts/resources for cooking inspiration!

On The Menu This Week:

Dijon-Maple Chicken with Brussels and Butternut – Skinnytaste One & Done Cookbook

Healthy Greek Turkey Burgers – Erin Lives Whole + Greek Salad

Salmon with The Defined Dish Lemon-Basil Pesto + Roasted Veggies

Lemony Greek Potatoes with Crispy Greek Chicken Thighs – The Defined Dish Cookbook + Broccoli

I’ll be saving the recipes that are available online on Pinterest each week! Be sure to follow me there too!

Always finding joy,

Francie
